In this lesson, the students will learn about the life of Sarah Goldman when she was 11 years old.
She will describe her life in the city of Miedzyrzec, Poland before the war, her parents, brothers and
sisters, the school where she studied, her everyday routine in the Jewish community in the city,
before she was forced to escape and hide from the Nazis. Later, they will hear about Sarah’s
experiences during the war and afterward, until she realized her dream of immigrating to Israel.
